How I Built this Lemonade Stand

This lemonade stand is easy to build with basic tools.  It is designed for beginners with minimal tools.

building a lemonade stand

First, cut the boards using a circular saw, miter saw, or a jigsaw.  Then build the two frames with the 2x4s and the 2-1/2" self tapping wood screws.

Now attach the cedar fence pickets to the sides of one of the frames as shown using the shorter screws.

Make sure you build the two side frames in mirror, as shown.

On a flat level surface, begin attaching the front and top pieces to the frame, making sure the frame sits flat on the floor.  Be careful with uneven garage floors.

Add the shelving pieces to the inside and screw down.

Now the fun part - decorate and accessorize!

For accessories, I used a pom pom garland, and printed out the "lemonade" letters on paper, traced out on scrap plywood, and cut out with a jigsaw.  This was time consuming for sure, but it was free and looks adorable.
