Farmhouse Doll Bed

I made this yesterday. After a little wood filler and a tiny bit more sanding, I'm giving this to a friend to finish for her daughter. I found clamping the 5 panel boards together with glue before attaching the panel top helped a lot. Also be sure to use Ana's tip of 3/8" material underneath to center it on the panel top. For the base under the mattress, I had some leftover mdf beadboard panel (from a 4x8 sheet) that was just over half the length of the bed, so I cut 2 pieces to size and rested them on the center support. While a single piece would be ideal, this way is freer at the moment.

This is darling!  How long did it take you to build this?

It took half a day all together, but just about 2 hours of actual work. I've got a 3yo and 5yo that keep me from working in a block of time anyway, so I used that to my advantage by gluing/clamping during the down time.
