The weather finally got a little warmer so that I could get outside to finish up the end table project I started over a month ago! My brother & sister-in-law requested a smaller end table for each side of their couch. I basically went off the Hyde End Table plans, but made them smaller and added a shelf. They turned out great and they were very happy with the results. Check out our blog for pictures; http://www.atouchofarkansas.com I cannot get the upload to work for some reason!!??
Thanks as always Ana!!

They turned out so nice! I was kind of afraid to just whack at my woodwork with a chain, so I've never tried distressing before. I just found a Youtube video about it, though, so maybe I'll give it a try with our nightstands...? Your end tables turned out so well, I might have to. Hmmm.
(The video was by "Doctor Dan", in case you're curious. It was very interesting.)

I like Dr. Dan's chain with the bolts in it, that would make some more unique dents on the wood and nice to know there is a technical term for it, chaining! Thanks for taking a look and good luck on your builds!
