Can I still use this lumber?

I have lumber leftover from last summer projects that sat outside in the elements all winter. I hate to just use it for campfire wood. Is there anything I can do to it to make it still usable? It is not rotted or anything, just discolored and cracks in a few places.

The cracks could be an issue, but if you can cut around them there'll be no problems.

The wood probably has some warping as well due to exposure to the elements. You can take that warping out with a good jack plane (buy used and learn to sharpen). It's a workout, but also incredibly addictive. Once you pick up a plane you'll want to keep going.
