Multiple Pallet Shelves....Can't stop making these!!

Gets easier with every one I make, made 8 so far...The day after I stayed up all night on Anna's site, making list, plans, etc, my neighbor had not one, but 2!!!! pallets at the curb! Since I see him everyday, I asked if I could have them. He looks at me funny, tells my to wait right here, and...ask and you shall recieve, came back with 2 more huge pallets! yeah!!!
And I've been shelfing ever since. First one took me an hour, and while I'm not done to 5 minutes yet, I'm getting close.
I do lightly sand them, with my handheld mouse, just a quickie, nothing major.
And is free ever bad? Only if it smells like skunk!
I dawned them, left them out to bake in the California sun, and...still smells like skunk. Those go in the garage, which is perfect cause when JB saw them....he asked for a beer/dart holder. And the pallet neighbor? I gave him one too, just not the skunky one. I have one unattached on my toolbench to hold bulky tools, there's one by the pool for hose attachments, pole clips, etc.
I love this site!! I'm slowly getting organized, one shelf at a time

The only thing stopping me from making some of these shelves is that I haven't quite figured out how to get a pallet back to my house in our little, four-door car yet! I wish my neighbor had some!!

Yours look great!

I'm in the middle of cleaning out my shed where I keep my firewood, the random feral cat guest, my work bench, and the washing machine - and I was wondering how I could best use the space above the washer to get the bottles of vinegar and homemade detergents and such off the floor where they currently reside and only are in the way. Since my bedroom window opens banging into that wall - yeah, my bedroom window opens into my shed! - I need something shallow and secure for bottles. Yor idea is the bestest thing I have seen in a very long time! :D

Thanks, that's really nice to hear. I've also added another right underneath it, for bounce, shout, etc. Feral cat....rofl. We have one of those too, adopted us, took over our garage. :)

@cdswhite, did you manage to get a pallet home? If you can't fit one in your car, carry a hand saw with you, and just cut the stringer (the 2 x 4) at the top of the notch on each end. 6 cuts, and you have 2 shelves, that should easily fit in your car. :)
