Rustic X End Table

We built the Rustic X End Table for our living room. It was pretty easy to make using a mitre saw and Kreg jig. It looks great, and was a great bargain. We''l be making the matching Rustic X Coffee Table next.

Built from Plan(s)
Estimated Cost
$30 for material; $220 up front cost for tools
Estimated Time Investment
Week Long Project (20 Hours or More)
Type of Wood
Finish Used
Stain: Varathane, Colonial(?). Applied with natural bristle brush based on random internet advice but would go back to using rags next time. Oil-based stain goes on really unevenly and "moves" if you try to smooth it out.

Finish: spar urethane, satin finish. Used natural bristle brush for this as well, which was fine but did not bring a lot of product onto the wood. The finish is very thin.
