Entryway Shoe Bench

Hey everyone, it's Brad from FixThisBuildThat.com. Today I’m sharing a project that will transform your entryway or mudroom. It's a shoe storage bench with room for 5 or 6 pairs of shoes per shelf and it has wrangled all of our kid's shoes. It's made from plywood, 2x2's and 1x2's with pocket hole joinery.

You don't have to use walnut for the top. You can substitute 1x6 or 2x6 depending upon the thickness you want. This is a great project to tackle to organize your house!

I love your tools they are so clean! Lots of neat tricks! I liked how you explained how to get a rough cut board even on all edges and how you finished the edge of the walnut top - nice job!
