Diamond Tufting a complete cube (Ottoman)

Well, my wife and I decided we wanted to tackle a home decorating project by trying to make an ottoman that was diamond tufted. Now the problem isn't about trying to diamond tuft a single side but how to completely tuft it an entire cube(even the sides). We don't need to make it a storage ottoman just one that has tufts around the entire cube (except the bottom of course). Is there any suggestions on how to wrap the fabric around the cube and tuft it at the same time? We are trying to accomplish this without creating too many seams. If you have any suggestions please let us know. Thanks!

Hi,
Usually these have seams along all of the edges to create a cube out of the fabric before you wrap the cube. Do you mean you want to have no seams at all? I can think of how to do it with 4 seams - what are you struggling with? I would sew the seams in the fabric, then drape the fabric over the cube and tuft the top, then I'd tuft the 4 sides. If you want the edges to be soft you'll need the seams in the padding to be set in from the edges of the box.

Good luck,
Jeremy
