Could someone PLEASE help me understand the pirate ship plans? The table top and seats say to use 1x3's, but the boards on the sides are too short. If I use 3- 1x3's to run lengthwise an 8 inch will not sit flush on the side. I am so lost and already had cut my pcs. Am I missing something here?
