Converting plans to use pallets

Hello. I am new to the forums. I have been using the web site and have read the forums but have never personally posted before.

I have made many projects and just recently started using reclaimed pallets as my wood source. It saves a lot of money and thus increases my projects I get to do!!! (Pallets are available to me by the hundreds for free. I am actually building are deck out of them lol. Well most of it. The underside is still treated). Anyways. My biggest issue I am having right now is trying to convert plans to be able to use them since they of course aren't always going to be the right length. (I have issues with numbers sometimes since it seems the logic part of the brain is what took the most damage after my accident). I can picture how to do it, draw it out then I go to do it and at least one or two of my cuts are off. Especially the miter cuts. I was so frustrated making the bridge the other day I wanted to cry. Lol. I ended up turning it into a platform and building four more platforms and now it is steps going up and steps coming down, no bridge. Lol. But it works. Looks nice and the most important thing is it's safe.

Anyways. If anyone has suggestions I would love to hear them. Because all this free wood is fantastic and it gets thrown away from the business so I have this need to use it. Lol lol. Thank you sooo much. : )
