I am trying to make Saving Alaska Farmhouse Canopy bed but cannot find 3x3 posts anywhere. I have called every lumber yard, mill and hardwood specialty store in Denver. I even asked if they would plane a 4x4 for me and the answer is no. Any suggestions? 4x4 seems too large and heavy for bedroom. Some have suggested a fencing company but i dont want treated wood.
