These little stools are adorable but I worry that they wouldn't be stable enough for toddlers since they always like to get up on things using their knees. My suggestion would be to attach the legs as close as possible to the edge of the seat (more like the green chair in the picture) or, for those with a compound miter saw, perhaps cut them on a 10 degree angle so they flair out slightly for more stability.
