Fancy New Trim....Old Door

Submitted by logansam54 on Sun, 10/20/2013 - 17:37

I'm in the process of redoing my bathroom and I was inspired by this post (Easy Window Trim). We live in a Levitt Cape which means every one looks the same. I have become obsessed with Trulia & Zillow and I check houses for sale in my neighborhood to see what they look like on the inside. Many of them have never been remodeled but the ones that have all have the same trim and I have been looking for ways to get my house to stand out when it comes ime to sell. And thanks to Pinterest and Ana I know that moulding is a relatively easy way to do it. My bathroom door wasn't installed correctly so I have a new Solid Core door on order but I had ripped the moulding off the install the beadboard and we had company today so I used Ana's post as inspiration. This is the old door and I just tacked it up with 2 brads so I can easily get it out when the new door comes but I LOVE it. I added the crown moulding yesterday as well and it makes a huge difference and changes the whole look of the bathroom. It stillneeds to be caulked and painted. I now I sure know that caulk is a girl's best friend. Thanks Ana!
