Since I have found Ana's site I have been aching to build something. I built this frame with free scrap wood (that wasn't straight). It was my first time using a miter saw, nail gun, and air compressor! I am happy to say I didn't die and the frame isn't perfect, but I am excited to build more! I modified the frame to be 24 by 24 square and I plan to make another one the same size to hang in my oldest two boys rooms.

I use some oops paint I had laying around. I used a foam brush to do two coats, I plan on distressing the edges, just haven't done it yet.
