I used the plans for the Planked Wood Sideboard to build a new tv console for our living room. I made a few adjustments, such as using 3/4 plywood and banding for the top and shelves, added some crown molding for trim, using plywood for the ends and doors, and foregoing the drawers. I also made it a few inches deeper. I am super happy with how it turned out!! I'm not as happy with how the stain technique turned out on the front so I may end up sanding and painting the whole thing but for now, we love it! There's a lot of storage space that we will utilize for when my grandson visits and we will store his toys away. Next up is the outdoor couch!
