This bed was very simple and inexpensive to make for my daughter. I wanted something that I could raise and put baskets under but I wanted it to be pretty and not just efficient. I raised this bed onto PVC(4")and painted them silver because Woodlyn, my daughter, wanted it to look like the doll bed I had made for her Barbies. I used some plumbing drain thingy I found in the same aisle as the PVC and screwed it to what would have been the legs. Then screwed the PVC to the drain thingy. It is solid and stable. IT looks just like I wanted it to. It worked!!
