I built a queen size Farm House bed based largely on the plans provided here (thanks Ana!). I made a few modifications. I started on February 24th and finished April 18th, spending a few hours per day. The plans were extremely helpful and much appreciated. I purchased all of the wood at my local Lowes and spent about $285. My original plan was to stain the bed but my wife wanted it painted. TIP: If painting, use Zinsser AllPrime Shellac-based primer stain blocker to permanently cover the knots and keep them from bleeding through the top coat. - Rick F.
