Thanks, Ana and Vanessa, The table top sat in the basement collecting dust for at least the 10+ years I've lived here. My neighbor Rose, shows me a Pottery Barn catalog X table as and insperation guide as sez to me my sister Rachael needs a kitchen table stat! So with some add'l lumber "aging" in the Basement and $150 in new supplies Rachael's boyfriend Eddie and I banged this together. A simple search for X tables led me to your site Ana and your plans saved the day for failure is not an option when Rose sets me in motion. The Top is 72" X 30" so we custom hacked the angles on the X and I chose Galvinized bolts for the X and to attach the X to keep the work bench look. We installed it at night so my photo's of the finished table don't do it justice. I'll try and update when I've been over for brunch. Thanks again.
