A Really Neat Little Table

I saw a small version of this table on Etsy at www.etsy.com/people/kampstudio . I wanted to try to build it and the studio kindly gave me the OK to try.

I had a new dowel jig (DowelMax) and this table looked like the perfect project to try it out on. Even the top was constructed of three pieces of wood and came out perfect. I did use PH screws to attach the top to the base.

I have to admit that I failed at tapering legs so I purchased them from Grand River Wood Products. Even with shipping they were less than $10 each. You could never beat that price at big Blue or Orange even if you could find oak legs like these.

The final table is 16" x 16" x 23 1/4"
