My name is Wendy Keefe and I am newly married on August 4th, 2012 and my husband Mike is a police officer in Vermont. I am the mother of one son named A.J., age 22 and three stepchildren, Erin age 11, Lauren age 9 and Daniel age 7. We have also just adopted 2 (yes,2) Labrador Retriever puppies, Wesley and Tucker,they are 3 month old brothers and it's definetly a challange. I live on a farm in Westmoreland, NH and work for The Home Depot as a Department Supervisor of the Millworks Department. I have several hobbies that keep me active and that I enjoy very much. Scrapbooking and card making are my absolute favorite, gardening, reading and hiking and now I have found this new eggerness to learn woodworking, building pieces of furniture for my home since stumbleing onto your site, I'm hooked!I have yet to actually build anything even though I have purchased some materials to start, but I am still a little afraid. That and the fact that its still only 20 degrees at times here and I am not a fan of the cold :)(originally from Florida) When I am not doing these things, I am attending the kid’s events such as soccer, softball and baseball games. Ever since I met my husband, I have also become a sports nut at a whole new level. I had always enjoyed watching a game growing up but had never experienced the passion of being fan like he is. I now proudly root for all our New England teams but am most passionate about the New England Patriots, The Boston Red Sox and Boston Bruins. Not a big fan of basket ball ;( Anyway, that about sums me up. I am looking forward to creating my first piece. Thank you Ana for being so talented and sharing your skills with the rest of us :)
