I am so happy to have found this site! It makes my heart sing to see that I am not the only female in the world who loves to build things with wood and power tools. I could tell some stories about the looks of amazement as well as lame remarks that men have put forth when I go to buy building supplies at the local home stores...I am so tired of men who think that women have no business using power tools! Anyway, I have been building stuff for about 6 years now; it all started back when I had horses and wanted a tack trunk for the barn. I looked at the available overpriced, poorly-made selections and thought, I could make one way better and cheaper than those! That was the start of it, and I am proud to say that I have grown in leaps and bounds in my skills since then, through trial and error, lots of reading books and magazines, and just having a "don't give up" attitude. Thank you, Ana, for sharing your wonderful project plans with the world!!!!
