Hi I love this idea, my sons room is a weird layout 2 doors and a window each on its own wall makes it hard to place furniture!
I was wondering what u guys thought of this bed but with a bit taller leg? I need to be able to fit his train table under it. 16" legs is that to tall?

please help:(
so I started making this bed yesterday, I got as far as the headboard being done but I'm stuck at the part where I have to extend the side panel out to fit in the notch of the head/foot board, I'm not a woodworker and can't for the life of me figure out how to extend the 1x4 panel pieces out both ends ? the plans call for 11- 1x4 and the runners are 39"? are there any woodworkers out there who have experience and would know how to tackle this?
