Instructions

Step 1

Attach sides to floors with either 1-5/8" trim screws (or similar) or 1-1/4" brad nails and glue.

Step 2

Attach top of rafters together with 1-1/4" brad nails or the 1-5/8" trim screws (or similar).

Then attach the rafter ends to the walls.

Step 3

Place the dollhouse on the 1/4" plywood and trace the outline of the dollhouse.

Cut out with a jigsaw or circular saw.

Cut out windows with a jigsaw.  TIP: First drill a hole with a large drill bit to give you a spot to start your jigsaw bit.

Step 4

Glue and nail the roof pieces to the 1x2 rafters.

Step 5

Build the deck with a 1x2 for the deck, and 1/2" plywood scrap for the top of the deck railing.

Drill holes with 1/4" drill bit, 1/4" deep in both the deck and the railing piece, and attach dowels with glue.

Attach entire deck with railing to the dollhouse front, use glue and screws from the back.

Step 6

Window trim can be cut out with a jigsaw or scrollsaw from leftover 1/4" plywood scraps.

Once you get one pattern done, repeat for remaining windows.

Glue to front of dollhouse.  Hot glue is preferred, or craft glue.
