Hi guys!!!
I am a newbie but me and my husband plan to build a few furniture pieces for our new home ;) One project I want to tackle is to build a bed for our toddler. He just turned 2 and would like to give him his own 'big boy' room. I'm really set on the Pottery Barn Kids Alex Platform Bed in a Full size but do not like the color choices they have (I would prefer more of a brown). Does anyone know how I should go about building this? I've never upholstered anything in my life but would love the challenge. Anyone who can help will be greatly appreciated. P.S.: If there is a way to make the cover removable that would be a God sent as anyone who has a toddler knows they can be a little messy at times ;)
