Well, I have decided to take the "plunge" after lusting over several of the plans here I am going to try and build one.
I used to do construction work for a theater company a lot time ago, along with design, and painting work so I am interested in rekindling that interest.
My big motivation: My husband often takes short-cuts when he is doing projects. We bought a desk, and he drilled new holes in (when a piece was positioned incorrectly) so the support is off. He did the same thing when he was building my son's toddler bed. This is a huge pet peeve of mine, since I am a bit OCD so I am determined to learn to do it myself.
