Hello from Oregon

Hello! I'm not sure if I'm replying to the first comment I clicked on or posting a hello to all. If the former, hi engarde, I'll click on your project! If the latter, hi to all. I found this site trying to find plans to copy a table I can't find to buy and thus have to make myself. And why not, I do all manner of other crafts! I sew, knit, crochet, embroider, cook, make rosaries, so why not something for which there is a very big bang for the time involved and smells as good as wood does? I mean, you can knit for months and get a little teensy pair of socks!

This site makes me feel pretty confident, because the steps are well thought out and the pictures are thoughtful, communicate well. So not so mystifying! Thanks in advance for the help I hope to get in the pursuit of that table, and after that a bathroom medicine cabinet.

You're right, woodworking does smell good! I was just thinking that today while I was cleaning up the shop area. I even like the smell of stain and varnish!
