Are you referring to the internal depth? There's usually a space behind the cabinet for services (drainage, water supply) that makes the overall depth a bit more.
Also, integrated appliances are not as deep as "stand-alone" appliances so the overall cabinet depth with an integrated appliance will be the same. If you're installing a stand-alone appliance you wouldn't put it inside a cabinet, you would just leave a space between two cabinets.
So the answer to your question is "no"...I think :-)
