Ikea wardrobes? Suggestions please!?

I want to make these. Right now there are rolling racks of

clothing taking up our spare room and I need the room for my mother to

possibly move in…

I would use pine of course, because it is inexpensive and I am not opposed to using plywood if it is necessary.

I expect them to be permanent, so if I had to build them in place, I am not opposed to that either!

I want to keep the ikea look (simple box with doors) so they would be almost floor to ceiling, and probably trimmed with molding to the ceiling.

Here's the catch… The area they are going into has a sloped ceiling on one side, so one of the cabinets will have to be shaped like that. I plan on making a cardboard template of the area before I start, but I am sort of stuck on how to start. i know this is a simple project, but because of the size, I am a bit overwhelmed!

The area measures about 7 feet across, and I guess seven feet high except for the sloped ceiling part. I have not considered depth, because it is not an issue in this area, I have about 10 feet in depth to work with. At this point, I should really just build a closet! Help!

I have been trying to post a photo, but it isn't working at the moment. The area is upstairs on my second floor. At the top of the stairs is a huge open area that only contains a door to the attic. There used to be a huge built in there, but we tore it out when the kids were younger to give them a common space to play video games. The kids are grown now, but I don't really think I want to put the closet back in.
